                “Aurora. This is a pleasant surprise. What are you doing here?” I coughed a few times, caught off guard by the cold chill to the air, for I do not recall that the weather had ever been anything but sunny here. The mist that laid so thickly on the floor was also a non-frequent occurrence—or rather, it was another first. What had caused this change? Why had the sunshine disappeared? And why had it sounded like she had been sarcastic when she had said that my presence was a pleasant surprise? Had something happened that had upset her?
