     “Hello?”       “She’s awake.”  My hand froze in the midst of filling in a set of documents, my pen nearly smearing in the process. She woke up? For some reason that had been the last thing that I had expected to hear when I had answered the phone. I had been back here for two days, and I had barely been able to get any of the things done that I had allowed to pile up in my absence.       “And? How’s she doing?”       “I’m not sure if she’s realised it yet, but she looks worse.
