I shook my head, looking up to see whether or not the guard who was leading me to the supposed location of my work equipment had stopped to take a breather yet, and I wasn’t even surprised when I saw that the distance that separated the two of us had gotten substantially bigger. Instead of me walking a step or two behind him, I was now a few steps behind him, and I would dare to say that I may need to jog if I desired to catch up to him.
