I turned to look at Alaric, not understanding what he was talking about, or who it was that he was referring to, as neither one of us had been speaking before that, which meant that this topic was literally out of context. I was managing to keep myself from frowning, although it was only because I was keeping my mind busy, trying to figure out what it was that he had meant. Yes, it would have been much easier to just ask him what he was talking about, but where was the fun in that?
