     “You can come in, Hera. Contrary to popular belief, I do not bite.”  My eyes found their way to the Queen in the room that I had just walked to and I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by everything that I was seeing. It felt like I couldn’t continue to look at one thing at a time, for my eyes were constantly drawn to something else’s causing me to lose focus repetitively.  The rest of the palace had been everything that I had imagined a palace needed to be—the gold trimmings on the walls, and the paintings of the angels on the ceiling. Then there had been that corridor that had been so impersonalised, that it hadn’t even had proper lighting, that it had candles lighting the way for those who wished to use it—but thinking back, to even those walls had had the gold trimmings on them.
