I had an emergency at the border early in the morning, so I wasn't there to welcome the Alpha Prince and Luna. On my way back to the packhouse, there was chatter and cries.
Calla and her friend rush to me as soon as I enter the driveway. The woman throws her hands around me, sobbing.
" What is it?" I ask, untangling her arms from me.
" Susan and Orson are dead,"

" s**t, I saw them before I left. What happened?"
