TWO MONTHS LATER
I walk to the mirror and smile. Danny stands next to me, grinning.
“How does it look?” I ask her with a smile.
“It’s beautiful. You are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. Especially the way it outlines the baby bump.”
“Never envisioned getting married while pregnant.” I laugh and run a hand on the bump. The wedding dress is beautiful. It was a gift from mum. I bet you guessed that. She has the best taste.
“And yet you look so beautiful. I envy you. You have everything.”
“So do you. Mason is so romantic. I have seen it.”
“I never thought we would get here. I thought it was something casual.”
“Really? What sign were you waiting for to know he was serious?”
“Expected him to be like Chuck. You know what I mean but he is the best. I love him so much.”
