Gerrard’s POV ‘Are you sure you are OK?’ I ask for what must be the hundredth time as Zara shuffles around our apartment, heading for the kitchen, her empty glass in her hand. I tried to get her to go to the hospital, but she point blank refused, she relented enough for Bink, a trained medic to take a look at her, but that was as much as she’d allow. She also won’t let me help her, waving me away each time I try to, insisting she can do it. She fills her glass, before turning, cradling the drink to her chest, and making her way back toward the spare room, the one she’s moved back into.
