Zara’s POV An i***t, he’s a goddamn i***t! He said he was going to reception to help, not come outside with one f.ucking guard for protection to meet me like some goddamn prom date! I can hear his laboured breathing as he follows me up the emergency staircase toward the top floor and our apartment. I should feel bad that I’m making him do this, but right now I’m too pissed to care about his comfort.
