“Good morning Siena, it's Maria.” The call comes in at 10:00 am in the morning and I am already in my office.
We had plans with Tyson for him to pick me up from home but he didn't come, prompting me to summon a taxi. Up to now he has not reported to work and his phone goes unanswered. Could be he overslept. I am thinking about him when the phone rings and I am surprised by the caller.
“Oh Maria, I thought I was never going to hear from you again. You went silent after our ordeal in the forest.” I answer.
“I memorized your number my daughter and promised myself that when the timing is right I will call you. I have good news for you.” She says.
