Lionel's POV
I just finished a long corporate meeting, feeling unusually drained.
As I got into the car, I instructed my Beta, Konstantin, on the destination before leaning back in the seat and closing my eyes to rest.
The sound of rain tapping steadily on the car roof eventually pulled me out of my thoughts.
I frowned, loosening my tie as I glanced out the window. Suddenly, Konstantin hit the brakes.
