Chapter 92

It swayed freely while she was looking at the bright moonlight. Her hair, which had usually been tied, was now wildly blown all over her face as the wind blew in it. The rustle of the wind complemented by the lustrous moonlight illuminated the beautiful scenery right in front of me. Mesmerized by the beauty right next to my very sight, I momentarily forgot the problem at hand. Instead, I was busily preoccupied with admiration at such a magnificent view. How I wish this moment to come, and now that it finally did, I don't want it to end right away. I thought. I quietly lean back while looking up at her tirelessly. Enthusiastically fascinated that I merely failed to realize that she was now looking down at me too. The meeting of our gazes somewhat makes the time stop ticking at the moment. How ridiculous that I am now deeply into her, yet I cannot submit myself fully to her. At the thought that I hadn't seen her, she waved her hand and turned around to get inside. Seeing her gone from my sight, I quickly got into the thought that she was now waiting for me in our room. What I didn't know was that she was actually holding her bump for support as she hurriedly ran down the stairs. Seeing her in this state, I hurried to meet her, afraid that she might stumble and would be hurt. “Hey, Careful… you’re running as if someone was chasing after you,” I said the moment I caught up with her halfway up the stairs. With teary eyes, she looked at me solemnly from my eyes down to my feet and traveled back again to my face before she threw herself for a hug without any words. “Hey…” Was all I can say in amusement at the vulnerability she has been showing now. I am so new to it. My Ale… She has been used to being tough, to being always on guard. Yet now, she is showing the other side of her, this side that I have been long waiting for to finally come. “I missed you.” She whispered naively beneath my ears. It was like music to my ears that I smiled upon hearing her, and my heart started to sing a lovely song for her. “Hmmm, I know,” I responded proudly. “I just said that I'd missed you, and all you could say was that you knew? How arrogant can you be!” she said, hitting me playfully on my chest while her luscious lips continued to pout adoringly. Hahaha… woman… I inwardly thought with admiration. “Oh, don't take it by heart, I was just teasing you,” l said while I softly laughed with satisfaction. “D’you think I am in the mood for your jokes? I was dead worried.” she crossed her arms in her chest as she continued to stubbornly continued to pout. “But why is that?” I pretended to be dumb to be able to tease her even more. “I hate you!” then, she turned around and started to walk away from me.
