I noticed over the next couple of days that I would catch occasional glimpses of someone in the woods, watching me. And every once in awhile, I would see a telltale poof of black smoke and knew that Bethany was nearby. I even shifted and let Dion out for a run a few times to try to see if we could catch them, but they were always gone by the time we got to where they'd been hiding.
