After Thanksgiving, the pack immediately went into full Christmas mode. Apparently, Miriam really loved Christmas, and her infectious spirit rubbed off on the rest of us. She collected Santa Claus stuff - figurines, towels, ornaments, you name it. If it had anything to do with Santa, she wanted it.
