I was really happy with how the meeting went with Alpha Jason, Gamma Quinn, and Taylor. And it was super frustrating to know that Kane had been so close, yet managed to slip out of their grasp.
At the end of our meeting, Alpha Jason asked if I would mind coming back to the packhouse with him. He told me that he would like to introduce me to the pack and let them know I was one of the good ones. He also gave me a visitor's pass and told me if I had any trouble using it, to just let him know and he'd straighten everything out.
I ordered another coffee - another cinnamon and vanilla latte, since it had been surprisingly good - and followed Alpha Jason out to the parking lot. He pointed to a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and told me I could just follow him if I didn't mind.
