After lunch, Jason and Miriam and I went back to the conference room we'd spent most of our morning in. We were joined then by Cade, Jason's Beta and Miriam's older brother. He wasn't quite as energetic as his sister, but he definitely held his own with her. He was about two or three inches taller than me, with tattoos covering his muscular arms. He had the same brown hair and green eyes as Miriam, although he kept his hair cut short. He was quite a jokester, and had us laughing most of the afternoon.
