Rose was fast asleep, looking peaceful and comfortable. I gazed at her and grinned. We were officially engaged. As much as I wanted to sleep, my body clock was set to wake up sharp at six. I slowly crawled out of bed, placed a kiss on her forehead and, tucking her properly, headed out.
"Let's go and watch the sunrise," Noel said, way too enthusiastic since last night.
"It's way past sunrise," I said, even though the sun was still like a faint glow at the moment.
"Still, we can catch it from the spring. Come on, I need some air," he prompted.
"Fine," I rolled my eyes and, because I wasn't clothed anyway, I quickly shifted and we dashed off towards the spring. Noel seemed eager and excited and his happiness made me laugh. We finally felt free. I finally felt free. And now I cannot wait
