“Come Nina, you will stand here with Lucy today till you learn everything about the system, but later you will work by the other table with Katherine.” Bethany said with a ‘I am the boss and you will do as I say’ tone.
“Okay.” I answered cheerfully with a smile. The best defence is kindness... or not, but I am like that anyway. I trust people easily, but I know I need to be careful with the people in this hall. If too many women are working together , that will never end well.
