Ace drives me home. It's almost dawn by the time he pulls up outside Georgia's apartment building. We spent the better part of the night at the police station recording statements and answering questions. We both did everything methodically; robotically, and we didn't say much to each other. There was so much to say that we couldn't figure out where to start, so we just avoided the conversation altogether. Right now, Aileen is at Ace's. He called her; asking her if she'd come over and stay the night since Leigh would be all alone, and she agreed as soon as she got the gist of what what was going on. She was shocked to say the least, and her obvious concern for both Leigh and Ace was almost palpable over the phone. We were gone by the time she got there so I didn't get to meet her
