I held the handle of my luggage as I looked at the house in front of me. I have been here. This is where I woke up after that drunken night. Garreth walked up from behind me with my other bags. “Let’s go?” he asked me and nodded without a choice. I will be spending the days here since that was what we agreed upon. In the span of our marriage, I will live under the same roof as him. Is this a good idea? I don’t know. But then, do I have a choice? No. We entered the foyer and the lights automatically went on.
