“Are you ready to go?” I asked Grayson as I poked my head into his office. He looked up with a guilty expression before he nodded. I left him to finish up and headed outside to the stable. I had a whole thing planned out, although, Grayson wasn’t aware of it. When he joined me, I knew that he was under the impression we were simply doing a perimeter run with our horses. However, that wasn’t exactly the plan. We moved around each other easily as we mounted our horses and made our way out to the forest.
