Chapter 6 - Alert

1777 Words
No one knows how the White Steorras managed to pull it off or what strategy they employed this time, but because we have already discussed the subject, our primary concern is to continue protecting the planet rather than to research the reason for their presence on the planet. However, because Dad has already deployed me to this planet, this mission of mine should be a success. According to Dad's statements, the number of White Steorras who have reached the planet has already begun to rise. And the reason behind this is something that has to be looked into more. If the White Steorras have already entered the planet without being detected by us, then all of the orders we have received are pointless and ineffective. We, the Black Steorras, can protect and spy on anything the White Steorras are up to, but authorities from the Earth Safety and Security Organization have already spoken out on the subject several years ago. It is not acceptable to the representative of the earth for us, Black Steorras, to step foot on the planet. Even if we had already informed the Earth's representatives about the White Steorras breaching and entering the planet without being detected, our actions had already rendered us untrustworthy, and the Earth Safety and Security Organization ultimately decided to deal with the White Steorras' forces that had already arrived on the planet. And it is for this reason that I have developed a dislike for the authorities of ESSO. The people who live on the earth that we are risking our lives to protect continues to be unappreciative of what we are doing. And I don't f*****g like it, but I don't feel like I have much power over the situation. Because I am not still in the upper ranks like my father, I am unable to speak in detail about those ESSO officials. And for now, the only thing I can do to assist Dad is to participate in this expedition. I need to be completely up to date on White Steorras' actions. And this means that I am the first Black Steorra to enter the earth as a result of an order that only my father is aware of. I'm well aware that my father will be terminated as a higher-up if it is discovered that he sent me on this trip without their knowledge, but I have no intention of betraying my father's trust in me by failing to complete this task. My father is someone I am familiar with. My understanding is that he is putting at risk his position by allowing me to come here without informing the other high-ranking personnel or an official from the ESSO about this special mission of mine, and that is why I intend to use whatever means necessary to gather information about the White Steorra's movements. I only hope that this one piece of paper will be of great use to us and that it will alter all that is currently taking place between us, Black Steorras, and the connection we have with the earth.  This should be.  With the intention of returning home, I raise my wrist before pressing another button to call Mr. Hawk. As soon as my call was linked to him, I began speaking. "Mr. Hawk, we are done here. We should leave right away, "I spoke my piece and was about to hang up when I heard Mr. Hawk's panicked cry. Damn it, this is terrible! Those maggots have arrived. Perhaps they were alerted by the blast, or perhaps it was the bomb they implanted that sent them an alarm after it was detonated. That thought prompted me to move immediately to get the paper I had stashed in a small squared box that sinks when an object is placed inside it. It is a useful equipment to have when performing missions such as recovering something because it allows the user to travel more quickly when leaving. And then after that, I immediately slid it into a small pocket in my black suit, which was meant for a secret assignment similar to the one I am currently on. Next, I turned on my location services so that Mr. Hawk would be able to locate me promptly even if we were traveling in different directions. Whenever we find ourselves in a tight spot like this, Mr. Hawk and I always turn to escape in a variety of ways. Because this abandoned house only has one entry, which is the front door, we will have to pound our way out of this abandoned house, which will take some time. Once I went out of the basement, I immediately got to work on getting things done. My suit has a button at my left chest, which I press just before I start walking around. What I just did was to activate the suit's invincibility future by pressing a button on my suit. If I were on my own planet, this suit I'm wearing would be a complete and utter joke. Steorra warriors of all kinds wear this costume because, as I've stated, the people of our planet are kind and loving beings who care for one another. We don't hoard things that others can't have because we don't want to be selfish. Although our world, Steorra, is rich enough as a result of the life that our Ancient Steorras provide for us, our planet has come to an end as a result of some of our people destroying it. We'll never know for certain whether or not our planet will ever be resurrected. "Continue with the search. I don't believe that the bomb simply went off by itself since it had been dusted by this disgusting domicile," said a White Steorra squadron leader just as a group of White Steorra strolled past me in front of me. The White Steorras nodded before going to different directions of the abandoned house. I continued to remain motionless and hold my breath as the squadron leader walked a short distance before coming to a complete stop in front of me. Everything was really silent as the White Steorra in front of me proceeded in front of me, observing as he took a few steps back and then continued walking past. As soon as he's out of sight, I take a deep breath and exhale slowly. And the fact that the White Steorras are still on the lookout for us only indicates that Mr. Hawk has successfully escaped from this abandoned house, and all that is left for me to do now is to follow in his tracks and get out of here as well. As I passed past some White Steorras, I kept my voice low and silent. My heart is racing. For some reason, I don't feel secure in what I'm doing. Not because I'm afraid of the hordes of White Steorra that have gathered around the abandoned house, but rather because of the suit I'm wearing. Both Black Steorras and White Steorras have evolved and improved throughout the course of the years. And, as I previously stated, the suit I'm wearing is probably ineffective against the advanced technology that the White Steorras possessed. It may have enabled me to slip past a few White Steorras, but they will very certainly be able to track me down any minute now, once they figure out a new means to track us down. And it is for this reason that I need to get out of here as soon as possible. The problem is that as soon as I went close to a window, I noticed two more squadrons of White Steorras directly in front of the abandoned house, making it appear difficult to accomplish. It just indicates that they have already surrounded the abandoned house by this point. In order to avoid being captured or pursued by these White Steorras, I'm going to have to move considerably more quickly tonight. "Tch, I've got to get going," I murmured as I walked down the street. It's evident that I won't be able to leave by the front entrance. As soon as I go out of the building, I will be immediately identified, which is something I do not want to happen, so I immediately walked towards the stairwell and went up to the second floor. Also during my silent movement, I turned on my wrist device and pressed another button, which immediately began playing the vision that Mr. Hawk had seen in my eyes while he was on the upper floor of this deserted building earlier.  I'm going through each room he's gone through, trying to find an exit where I can get out without being discovered by White Steorras. They are still searching the lower levels of the abandoned house, so I assume that I did the right thing by moving up to the upper level of the abandoned house. As I continue to move invincibly, I can hear the White Steorra squadron leader ordering the others to follow me up to the upper level of the abandoned house as well. I take this as a cue to proceed quicker and press another button on the gadget in my wrist, which causes the recording in my eyes to be fast-forwarded. I then see a door that Mr. Hawk unlocked, which leads to a balcony that overlooks a dense oak forest. The forest is a nice spot to get away from it all. They will have a difficult time tracking me down once I have fled into the forest and well-hidden myself. Because it is nighttime and the only thing that covers the forest is darkness. They won't be able to see very far, and while they are still trying to locate me, I will flee deep into the forest until they are no longer able to find me. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack for them. They have no idea where we are, and neither do I, but I'm not going to get lost in this forest, believe it or not. That implies I will not get lost because I have a tracker that will direct me to the location of Mr. Hawk. I will always be able to locate Mr. Hawk, no matter where he may be. And because Mr. Hawk is aware that we are on a mission, I am confident that he will identify a location where we can meet without being perceived as suspicious. Knowing where I was going to leave, I promptly made my way up to the third floor, where the balcony would be waiting for me there.
