Lexi’s POV
We finish cleaning up the mess hall and head outside. Everyone is on the main field following along as a few parents lead them in different stretches and exercises. Well, I guess clean-up duty isn’t so bad if that means I get out of doing sit-ups.
But nothing is ever as good as it seems though. As we start heading to the field, we get stopped by Justin’s mom who says, “Oh, teams 2, 5, and 8 don’t for a second think you got out of morning exercises because you were cleaning. You get to play catch up. So to start, four laps around the camp. Once you are done with the running, find me and I will get you guys started with the exercises.”
We all nod and say, “Yes ma’am” before we take off jogging around the camp. There are cones set up around the perimeter and we run along them.
