Lexi’s POV
I was in the hospital for five days before I was discharged. The doctors were concerned that I might form a blood clot post my emergency splenectomy, especially since I couldn’t walk to get my blood flowing well. But, that just meant the doctors had to find another way for me to get my blood pumping. Let’s just say the patient next door thought I was being murdered because I was screaming at the top of my lungs when I had to get assistance doing the leg exercises. That s**t hurt. Luckily, there were no issues and I was able to go home when doctors expected me to.
I think the nurses were getting annoyed with me because every day after school I had so many visitors in my room. And when you put a few teenagers together, some craziness is going to happen. I don’t think they apprec
