Lexi’s POV
After I got off the phone with Jason, my dad walked into my room while I was climbing back through the window. He knows the roof is where I go to think and knows I’m not risking breaking my leg trying to jump off the roof to sneak out. He didn’t say a single word to me, just extended his hand out waiting for me to put my phone in it. I powered off my phone and put it in his hand with an eye roll.
He calmly stated, “You can have this back before school on Monday.” He walks away without another word and I make a face at his retreating body. Goodnight to you too, dad.
