Carter's POV:
Two weeks later
Today is the day I'm flying to Washington to see Bethany, she has no idea I'm coming today; her friend Alex is in on it.
These past two weeks were hectic for me and I need a break right now away from the pack, Leon and Antonio can handle anything that comes up for the next two days.
I sent Bethany's dress for our date last week, she told me it fit well and she loves the color. Of course, she does, I chose it.
"Are you all set?" Mom asks.
I nod, I've booked a hotel room for two days. Bethany has a game today and I want to see her in action this afternoon, Alex sent me the location of the university the team will be participating at.
"I hope things work out for you, I know you had a rough start together but I have faith it'll turn out alright", mom hugs m
