Bethany's POV:
"What are you thankful for Beth?" Mom asks during dinner.
The menu turns out nicely.
"I'm thankful for family, for my amazing boyfriend", I hold Carter's hand, "and my supportive friends."
Mom smiles and turns to Carter.
"I'm thankful for my mate for giving me another chance, for my acceptance into the family and I can take on the future with my mate head on."
"That's great to hear."
After dinner, mom and Dave go to their room while Carter and I stay on the patio around the table.
"When do you want to visit the pack?" Carter asks.
"After the new year, didn't your mother want us to have lunch sometime?" I ask.
He nods.
"We'll have it before Christmas, just the two of us."
"She'll be happy to hear that, do you want her number?"
"Sure."
He gives me her number.
