Her eyes shifted around conscientiously. “Where are you?” She whispered. Confused and bewildered, she was almost afraid to move. “Sol?” She called out, this time, to her beast, but there was no answer.
“Rori?”
When she heard a familiar voice, she looked to her left of her and saw crimson eyes staring at her with tears in his eyes and shock on his face. She laid her hand against his cheek.
“What’s the matter?” She asked softly.
He shook his head. “Hi.” He decided to dwell on the fact that she was there staring at him. “I thought I lost you.”
She smiled. “I..” Her mind reverted to her and her brother being devoured by light. Aurora remembered that she had made this choice and, while she was practically crippled by the idea of not being with Godfrey, she had made a devastating choice
