Everyone rushed outside, following Aurora as she traced the voice that was playing over and over in her mind.
“Hurry, Aurora. I can hardly wait to see you again.” Azul’s voice played like a dreadful record in her mind. She wanted to block him out but knew that she wouldn’t be able to track him otherwise.
At one point, Azul being a Beta, regardless of his standing with the Arctic pack, would have been enough for Aurora to track him down. However, she noticed that in trying to block him out, she’d also lost his location; there was something different about the banished Beta. Something….wrong. And Aurora knew that it had something to do with Kane. So, she simply could not afford to keep Azul out of her head-not if she wanted to get to the bottom of this.
