Alex’s POV
It has been two days since I took out that alpha. Two days of bliss, and I had never seen my mate so relaxed and happy. He was gone from our lives, and nobody and nothing would come between us again.
Cleaning up the aftermath had been horrifying, but the pack was already beginning to look like it had before. I had unfortunately lost a fair few of my warriors in that attack, but it made the rest of them even more on high alert.
It would not be easy, but this pack would keep their heads high.
Victoria and I were strong, and our pack would be rebuilt. We would be more assertive and ready to take on anyone who dared to cross us.
