Five months.
It has been five months since I took the high alpha position. I've been very busy. Meetings everywhere. I have also traveled around the world to meet with other high alphas for peace treaty, and alliance.
I am living in the pack house now. Together with my beta and delta. I had the pack house remodeled before I moved here. I wanted it to be more accommodating to those who will join the pack.
And on those five long months, I haven't heard anything from Sahara. She haven't been home since she left that day. I really miss her.
Alex and Zab were in New York. They are living there with Zari to take care of mom's company. They wanted to have a time away from all supernatural things. And they wanted Zari to live a normal life. For the time being.
A knock on the door pulled me off my thoughts.
"Come in."
My beta Joshen came in.
"Yes?"
"The council has called us for a meeting in their headquarters." He said.
"Now." He added.
I sighed and stood up. I closed my laptop and walked towards Joshen.
"Let's go then." I said.
Joshen nodded and we both went out of my office. We saw Brian on our way towards the main door.
"We'll be going to the council's. I'll leave you in charge." I said.

Joshen and I proceed to go out of the pack house. We got in Joshen's truck and he drove towards the council's headquarters.

When we got there, guards immediately ushered us towards the meeting room. They opened the door and let us in.

I took a sit on the vacant chair while Joshen took a sit on the couch by the wall.
"We called you in for a new development regarding the moon walkers." Dad said.

"What about it?" I asked.
"We may have found a way to counter act the effect of the moon walkers bite." elder Henry said.

"My witches found something from our ancient scrolls. A plant that has the essentials to cure any poison. " lady Amara said.
"That's great! What plant is it? Where is the plant? Where can we find it?"" I asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Corpse plant?" I asked.

"Apparently, this plant smells like a decaying corpse." mom said.
I cringed at the thought.
"So where is it?" I asked.
"It mainly grew in the southeastern Asia. In the forest of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines." Lady Amara said.
"So this huge stinky flower can cure any poison. And it can also be a cure from moonwalkers bite?" I asked.
They nodded.
"That's good!! Why don't we gather them now? "
"The flowers are protected by ancient magic. Only a powerful healer can touch them. And with your ability, you were the only one that can harness the plant to be it effective. " Lady Amara said.
I stared at them blankly.
"So you're saying that I should be there, take them myself and then harness it to make it an antidote." I asked them.
"Yes."
Mom stood up.
"I'm sending you out in a mission to gather that plant." She said.
"But, I'm alpha! I can't leave the pack for some expedition." I argued.
Dad slammed his hands on the table, making me flinch.
"As an alpha, you're to put everyone else above all! And since you haven't found your mate, you're very much capable in doing this expedition!! And you are the only one capable touching the plant!! For fuck sake Creon! Step out of your comfort zone!!" Dad exclaimed.
I gulped. I'm still intimidated by dad even though I'm already a high alpha.
"The elite team will accompany you, together with Khol. Joshen and Brian will be in charge of the pack while you're away." Mom said.
There was a finality in her voice. A Queen's voice that I cannot ignore,
I bowed my head.
"Yes your highness." I said.
