Chapter 43
Well, the atmosphere quickly went straight to intense the second I started to talk about what happened. I could feel Sirius’ guilt and anger rolling off him in waves. Even Frost wasn’t immune to her mate and the urge to comfort him.
She still had some slight misgivings on his past, though, so she isn’t quite as easily swayed as Gem, even if the urge is intense. Far too stubborn just like myself, Gem can have her moments too, and she is a feisty girl, but is more forgiving and soft than us. There is enough of her anger still there to stop her from jumping in his lap, thankfully.
I do believe him that he had no knowledge of her being mated, I can feel the shock and sincerity off of him. Also the fact they all but said it during their talks when they had no idea I was listening.
