Chapter 30
By the time we got to the evening meal, the whole castle was whispering about us, and there was excitement in the air. Everyone was not being subtle in the slightest as they watched us walking hand in hand and noticed the rather large red mark on my neck.
Because we had not long mated, we reeked of each other anyway, so there was no hiding it. If we were marked, we would hold a piece of each others scents all of the time, that along with the mark is a warning to all others that we are taken. Just mating with your mate will leave you with each others scents for a short time.
I am feeling happy about my decision, I finally feel like I can trust Sirius with my body and my heart. It took quite a bit of thought and work to get me here. That girl just gave me the final push I neede
