Sarah-Sofia’s point of view.
I look up at Jaxon as he simply stares down at me. His silence speaks more than words ever could. A physical pain resonates in my heart, as I feel like a vice is clenching my chest, making it hard for me to breathe. The sting of tears prickles my eyes, as I blink, determined not to let them fall. Part of me wants to beg him to say something, anything, but a bigger part of me cannot. If he is rethinking our relationship, then so be it. I will not plead nor will I beg, my pride would never allow it.
