The two days passed quicker than Lena expected. Before she knew it, the day of the project meeting had arrived. She stood in front of her full-length mirror, adjusting her blazer for what felt like the tenth time. "You look perfect, ma'am," Arianna said, standing by the door with her tablet in hand. Lena forced a smile. "Thanks, Ari. I just want everything to go well today." Arianna nodded. "We worked hard for this. It’ll show." Lena grabbed her bag and headed out. She knew she should focus on the project, but her thoughts kept drifting to Grayson. Would he be there? Would he even look at her? She shook her head, trying to push those thoughts away.
