The weekend came fast, and Lena hadn’t heard from Grayson at all. She told herself she didn’t care, but as the evening rolled in, a nervous knot formed in her stomach. She had no idea if he’d even show up. Still, she went to get dressed. She chose a simple black dress, something her mother wouldn’t question.
