Harriet’s POV
I didn't trust Aurora. Not one bit. She hated me, and now she had even more reason to try and destroy my life. I couldn't let that happen. I had to face Damon and end all of this once and for all. Gino was the one I wanted to be with, nobody else. What had started as a contract was now very much real for me! There was no way I would let Aurora come along and get in the way of anything.
I would wait and bide my time, but she wasn't going to get away with anything. I was going to make her sorry for ever messing with me.
“Gino, let's go home,” I told him as I slipped my hand into his and smiled up at him. I decided that once he was asleep, I would sneak out and go back to the packhouse. Damon needed to know that I was off-limits. I would never be his little sidepiece again
