At that exact moment, someone knocked on my office door, and I was more than relieved... whoever it was couldn't have come at a better time because goddess help me. I don't think I could sit through another one of their bickering. Ethan pokes his head in through the gap of the door and I sigh...
"Am I bothering?"
He asks.
"No"
I say
"Yes."
Both Karla and Kristen say at the same time... he lets himself in and shuts the door behind him.
"We need to talk."
Ethan says, looking at Karla.
"I've had a long day dad."
She whispers
"Then allow me to make it longer. This cannot wait your mother and grandmother are waiting outside."
She sighs but doesn't say anything... Ethan turns and opens the door, letting the woman into my office.
