“I, Aurora Rain, reject you, Blake Jones as my mate.”
Her words were still resounding in my head as I kneeled down on the floor, clutching my aching heart. The pain that ripped through my chest was unexplainable and intense. I felt like some force had plunged its claws into my body and was squeezing harshly, ripping my heart away. My breathing was labored and my head felt like it was exploding from the agonized howling of my wolf who was curled up and not moving.
