It was the most beautiful sunrise I'd ever seen. I took a big breath and exhaled slowly. I could smell the fragrance of our victory as the cool, fresh breeze whacked my face. I took another whiff and detected the scent of tranquility as well. Finally, the war came to an end.
The pack wolf defeated the rogues.
"Luna Shin!" It was the Blue Moon's pack members, and I immediately turned to face them. They had already taken human form and were waving at me.
"Hey, guys. We beat them!" I yelled triumphantly, a huge grin spreading across my lips.
Ridge raised Ella and she perched on his shoulders. "Let us go home, amazing Luna!" he exclaimed.
My grin had changed into a pout. "Hey, abs-brain! Understand that I am still not accepting you as my brother-in-law."
