After a long time Gabriel got up from the water which was now red with blood. His skin was now smelling like the pine and citrus body wash and bubble with which he had scented the water in the tub. He dried off the water from his body and drained the tub.
As he wore the towel around his waist and came out to his room, he heard sounds of Regina and Petrov arguing in the drawing room and he got out to see what was the matter when he found both of them kissing on the stairs as if this was the last day on earth and both of them would need to love each other in order to live.
