Daphne He smiled. “We could start with a kiss... to ease the pain.” My pulse raced as our lips met, soft at first, then hungry. He cupped my neck with his good hand, pulling me deeper. It was wrong but thrilling, everything I shouldn’t want. “God, Daphne,” he groaned against my mouth. “You have no idea what you’re doing to me.” I broke the kiss, breathless. “We have to stop.” But his eyes pleaded. “Don’t, please. Touch me. I need you.” I glanced at the monitors. His vitals were stable. The door was closed. My resolve crumbled. “Okay, but be quiet.” I slid my hand under the sheets, finding the hem of his hospital gown. His skin was warm and I felt his muscles tense as I trailed upward. He was already hard, straining against the sheets. He hissed when I wrapped my fingers around him.
