I'd been assigned to my new office this morning, and I was elated, certain reasons amongst others. By the time the afternoon rolled around, my office was set up– nameplate on the door, seats rearranged, books on the shelves and desk perfectly positioned. I’d barely finished stacking the last pile of papers when the knock came. “Come in.” The door shut, and I didn’t need to look up. I could already smell him. “You didn’t think I’d miss christening your new office, did you?” Tristan’s voice was low and cocky, as always.
