Five Years Later.
"Do not touch me!" demanded Lea in an icy voice. "Sleep outside and don't come in before I call you."
Jayden was stunned. He accepted the pillow and blanket that Lea gave him with a sad face. "Baby, come on, I promise I won't touch you, but let me sleep next to you, OK?" Jayden coaxed gently.
Lea turned Jayden around and pushed him out of the room, then closed the door and locked it. Jayden looked at the bedroom door languidly and headed for Luke's room.
