It was early in the morning when Lea woke up. She couldn't sleep and just lay awake silently in Jayden's arms, not wanting to disturb Jayden and make him wonder.
Yesterday's call from the hospital about further examination really disturbed Lea's mind. Some time ago, Lea had checked herself into the hospital because of complaints in the abdominal area which sometimes bothered her because of the pain.
What's the matter? Why did the doctor sound so urgent? Does she really have some kind of dangerous disease? Lea was worried and felt it better to get checked out soon to be sure.
Lea quickly showered and dressed modestly, trying not to make too much noise to wake Jayden, then went into the kitchen and cooked. She also made provisions for Luke who will be at school until this afternoon.
