I made up my mind on telling it off to Guna. I walked to the cafeteria. He sat there immersed into a book.
He's not bad to look at, tall enough to hide me if I hug him. Obviously a body to die for. Featured of his face are carved to perfection. He's got light brown shade of eyes which would hypnotize anyone within moments. An assuring smile which would let anyone feel comfortable with him.
He's not too bad to reject but it's his heart I'm talking about. Yes, Saturday's talk proved to me that he's good at heart too. Physical appearance is not anything that I die for. I want to see him the way he is. I want to explore his actual self.
"Were you waiting here from the morning?" I asked him and he lifted his head from the book in an instant.
"What if you descide to answer in the morning or maybe in the middle of the class? I just want to be there whenever you want to answer." Can't he show a little mercy on my heart?
"You can sit and talk." He pointed to the chair opposite to him closing his book.
"What were you reading?" I asked him.
"This?" He pointed to the book.
"Thermal energy." Okay, not poetry.
"So, what surprise do I get today? A good one or a bad one?" He asked.
"Both." I answered.
"What?" He looked confused.
"Ya, both." I said but he didn't speak a word.
"I'm totally impressed by you but I'm not in love with you, head over heel. You would say it's not required but I want it to be that way." He simply nodded.
"Lets start with being friends. Get to know each other. We have time till the day of graduation. I just want to fall hopelessly in love with the one guy in my life. I hope it's you." He smiled.
"Does it mean you need more time?" He asked.
"If I need more time, I wouldn't be here telling you that I like you." I answered.
"I like you, yes. I'm totally impressed by you but this like isn't enough for love." I added
"I get you, I'll try my best to be that one guy for you." He said.
"Thank you." I said and he smiled.
"So, lets celebrate on the occasion of our friendship. There's a party this night, lets go......."
"No." I stoped him before he could complete.
"I don't like partying much, I'm sorry." I reasoned to convince him.
"Whatever you please Akki. Lets celebrate here itself then." He said
"It's a great idea!"

(Anand's VOC)
"Anand sweetheart! Congratulations!" I woke up to the shrieking voice of Zera. How the hell did she get into my private appartment?
"Sweetheart are you dozing of happily?" She asked but I couldn't open my eyes. My head is beating like a mad drum. I felt her opening my sheets which are covering my face.
"Let me guess? You drunk till your last breath last night? You left the front door open and your here with your boxers, on your bed?" With that she kept laughing. I felt the urge to hold her head and smack it to the wall untill I'm satisfied.
"Just kidding! My man." How I hate her! I got up and sat on my bed.
"Honey, who's in the shower by the way?"
Ya, your bestfriend!
Get prepared for the heartbreak.
"Are you ready for round two?" Just then Diana stepped out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her chest. I watched the change of expressions on Zera's face.
"What is she doing here dear?" Diana asked and Zera's eyes were filled with rage.
"How could you do this to me bitch?!?" Zera yelled. Although it's tempting to witness their fight. I felt the urge to get out of the room. My head kept drummed for ever shreaking yell.
I walked to the kitchen to grab some Tylenol and thankfully I found an entire strip. I then took an ice bag and I ran to the living room to grab my ear plugs. I put them on and bliss! Let them yell till they kill themselves. I don't give a damn now.
I remember Diana approaching me in the party last night. Her eyes were only on me. Diana is a renowned model. I was forced to go to a party last night. I wouldn't have been there on the first place if it's not organised by the investors. I can't remember how I ended up agreeing to take her to the appartment but I did.
I wouldn't regret it though. She's a women on fire and thanks to her that I'm going to get rid of Zera somehow. I saw the home screen of my mobile to find Jain calling. I took my ear plugs off and god! These women can start a world war.
"Yes Mr. Jain." I answered the call.
"Good morning Sir. I called to tell you that I found a new assistant for you. She fits in all ways and the description you've given." He's too eager to get promoted.
"Well, thank you Jain." I said trying to avoid the screaming from the other room.
"When do you want her to start?" He asked.
"How about tomorrow?" I asked.
"Okay sir, I'll let her know." He said.
"Fine, as promised you can start with your new position from Wednesday on. I'll make sure that I'll do it first thing tomorrow morning."
"Thank you sir." He said and hung up. Right then Zera stormed out of the room.
"Everything is sorted. I know she must have seduced you last night. I trust you with my life Anand." She answered in her sweet fake voice.
"I'm not a teenage boy to get seduced by anyone Zera. I don't give a damn if you trust me or not." I snapped at her.
"I know you love me with all your heart. I know your a bit too disturbed now. Take some time. I'll talk to you when your fine." The nerve of this girl!
"I don't remember telling you that I love you Zera. Can you remind me of any?" I asked and her eyes panicked. She's head over heel in love with my money and I'm the biggest game master to know all her dirty tricks.
"What are you talking about? Everyone knows that we're togather. You let everyone know! Isn't that enough to tell me that you love me endlessly?" Wow, love? Endlessly? And that too with her? Never in a trillion years!
"If you want, I'll take Diana in public too." I laughed and her eyes glistered with tears.
"Diana, how would it be to come to the party with me tonight? It would be great for the world to know about my new girlfriend." I winked at her and she came and sat on my lap.
"I'd love that honey." She said stroking my chin with her hand.
"Don't kid with me Anand!"
"It's Mr. Bhatia for you and if you raise your voice before me a second time. I'll see to it that you'll repent it." I said and she held her eyes wide with shock.
"Alright Mr. Bhatia! You let me fall in love with you and you made me believe that you loved me too but you turned out to be a manwhore! You son of a bitch!" She yelled and my anger rose. I stormed to her in a few steps and I made sure that I slapped her hard.
"Watch your words Miss. Khan. If I'm a manwhore then what are you? My mother is not a bitch! I suppose it would be yours. Why don't you recheck? Think about that and know your position and the place your supposed to stand." She looked baffled at my sudden reaction. Even Diana looked in horror.
"Now clear this area before I descide to vanish you from the face of this planet."
She sniffed and rubbed her check which is redened due to my slap.
"No-one ever slapped me in my life, you bastard!" I laughed.
"I wouldn't mind to do that again." I slapped her other check. How could she call me a bastard?
"You'll pay for this Bhatia! I will see to it that you will! I'll drag you out of your pride and that day you'll come begging for me!" I need to appreciate her determination.
"In your dreams Khan." I told her.
"Let's watch then, I'll drag you to extreme humiliation! You don't know what all I could do to you." She said.
"Your forgetting that your talking to Anand Bhatia. A man who could crush people like you with his little finger." I smirked but she held the rage in her eyes.
"I'll watch you try." She said.
"Oh really, then watch me." I said and held her arm tightly. I dragged her to the main door and pushed her out of the door.
"This is what I could do and what can you do?" I shook my head. "Nothing." I told her.
"You'll repent for what you've done! Mark my words Bhatia!" She yelled.
"Ya, I marked them with a highlighter." I said and closed the door.
I wouldn't have acted to mean if she didn't curse my mother. No-one touches her and if they do, this is what happens.
I sat on the couch with the ice pack fixed to my head. I closed my eyes as the yelling session bought more pain inside my head. I felt Diana's hand on my bare chest. "That was intense." She wispered in my ear. "Would you like to take a relaxing session?" She wouldn't stop, would she?
"If it doesn't help I'll throw you out, just like her." I warned her with my eyes shut.
"I promise you that I'll help." With that she sealed my mouth with her lips. At least I showed Diana what would happen if she over thinks.

"I don't know how I could complete that assignment." I complained as we walked out of the class.
"I know very well that you'll be the first one to complete among all of us." Guna answered.
"Dream on." I said.
"Hey Akki!" Geetha joined us.
"Hey!" I greeted her. Both Guna and Geetha exchanged death glares. I got habituated as it's been a week since I spilled the beans to her about me and Guna. She freaked out about it, obviously, but she did accept my decision reluctantly. Guna stuck to his word of giving me the time I need. He didn't force me or ask me again. He's my bestfriend now, along with Geetha. I can't guaranty that I'll love him as this is much better if you ask me.
"Guess the news I've got!" She smiled mischievously.
O no, trouble on the way!
"What is it?" I asked panickingly.
"Your going to give the welcome speech to the tech fest!"
Shit! I'm in a very big trouble!
"I cannot speak!" I yelled at her.
"Too late dear, our head thinks your the only one who could do it. You can't back out as it starts this coming Friday."
Comming Friday?!?!
This is a very very very very very big problem!
"Coming Friday? There are hardly four days to prepare! I'm not doing it!" I told her blankly.
"Come on! You speak great and everyone knows that! What's getting you too nervous?" She's definitely insane! Almost twenty universities participate in this fest and she wants me to give it's opening speech?!?
"Yes but not before twenty universities!" I yelled.
"You can do it Akki. Your too talented, you know?" Guna too?
"You guys are freaking me out! I think I'll pass out now!" I told them.
"I'll hold you if you pass out!" Both of them said in union. They looked disgusted at one another after that.
"Thank you for your consideration but I won't do it." I told them.
"You'll do it!" They said in union again.
"And that's a promise!" Again the same timing? They turned to each other this time.
"Why are you......" They stopped as they said it in the same time again.
"You fir....." Again the same time. I laughed out loud as they looked like awkward kittens.
"Stop it guys...... I can't......stop my laughter." I spoke between my laughter.
"Ya, only if you promise to do it." I stoped laughing at once.
"I can't, it's too tough for me!" I told them.
"I'll help....." Again at the same time! Did they prepare and come?
"I'll help you." Geetha said.
"Me too." Guna said.
"I think I'll embaress myself." I protested.
"No, you won't!" Geetha replied.
"I'm your bestfriend! Will I ever let it happen?" She asked and I shook my head in response.
"Fine then your doing it with my help and he can help too." She said the last bit with pure disgust.
I think this is the only way to get them a little closer. I wouldn't like to watch both my bestfriends fight like Tom and Jerry. So, I'll do this! Even if it means me getting embarrassed.
"Fine, I'm in!"
"Great!" They hified each other. When I raised my eyebrows at them, they looked away from each other. My first success! I hope this plan works out in the end..
