{Kaly’s POV}
I wake to the sound of beeping. I slowly open my eyes and look around the room. Maddox is in a chair next to the bed and his head is resting on my lap. He has clearly been crying. I smile and gently run my fingers through his hair.
I look to see Jax and Violet snuggled up on one end of the couch, and on the other end is Jacob and Sara. I look down at my sleeping mate and get and evil idea. I reach in my gown and pull the sticky pads off me, and the machine goes berserk.
Maddox’s head snaps up and everyone jumps to their feet. They look at me and I have the monitor cord hanging from my hands. “You are such a bitch.” Sara huffs and crosses her arms. I laugh and everyone gives me stern faces. “Not funny babe.” Maddox says taking my hand.
