“Mate.” I hear Jax say.
He walks into my room and straight over to me. He leans down and kisses my head. “I am so mad at you for keeping what Mercedes did to you from me.” He says looking at my face and booted leg. I start to panic does he think I’m his mate? I don’t feel the mate bond.
