It had taken a full week, but in the end everything was ready for the Midsummer ball. Everything, from the catering to the table's place cards, had been organized and settled.
When dad gave me the job, I considered it a relatively simple task; it when Susan and I started working on the project that same evening that I immediately changed my mind.
