“Calix!” I couldn’t stop my mouth from calling out his name. I don’t know what was happening and what was they talking about that the used to be stoic Marcus Dexigrous burn in angst and furry towards his son.
His back was facing me but I’m still sure he was as much as angered as I am now. How could his own father make him taste the wrath of his aged yet strong arms.
This is too much! I couldn’t bear to see how the most powerful CEO in the world…how the strongest man I’ve known…and how the man I love come to helplessly crumble. Treated like some piece of dirt.
